Watkinsville, Georgia native John Wes Townley will compete for 2012 Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving a Toyota Tundra for RAB Racing with Brack Maggard.

Townley, 22, has made seven starts in the Camping World Truck Series, most recently at Phoenix International Raceway in November 2008.

Townley will join teammate Kenny Wallace, driver of the No. 09 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
