Tyler Canup held off a hard charging Chase Lampp to score the Hobby feature on Saturday night at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway.

Canup, from Winder, Georgia, started from the pole, and raced outside pole sitter Lampp into turn one on the start.

The duo stayed side-by-side for most of the opening lap, with Canup finally clearing Lampp for the lead off turn four. Lampp countered by attempting a crossover down the backstretch on the next lap. That move was negated when the only caution flew for a three car tangle behind the leaders off turn two that involved Dakota Taylor, Nick Carter and Tyler Wood.

On the restart, Canup jumped back to the lead, holding back a challenge from Lampp as they raced into turn one. Lampp would try time and again to find a passing lane on the inside of the leader, only to be held off each time.

The two car battle soon became a three car battle, as Logan Stinchcomb moved up to challenge Lampp for second. As those two fought for position, Canup was able to build an advantage out front.

After holding off Stinchcomb, Lampp again closed on the leader as the race entered the final laps. Lampp was able to pull alongside several times over the closing laps, but could not complete the pass.

With the white flag in the air, Lampp tried one more time to find a way around the leader, but it was Canup leading the field under the checkered flag to score the victory.

Lampp finished in second, with Stinchcomb in third, Taylor in fourth and Carter in fifth.

In other action, John Anderson held off Ken Lampp to score the win in the Limited Late Model feature. Brandon Roberts finished in third.

Wormy Gaddis took the victory in the Modified Street feature. Jordan Poole came home in second, followed by Nick Sellers in third, Aaron Criswell in fourth and Nick Frady in fifth.

Ronnie Poole held off Tim Corbin for the Stock V8 feature win. Mark Chancey finished third, with Trey Pilgram fourth.

Justin Taylor took top honors in the Stock 4A feature, with Kyle Braswell, Allen Cantrell, Brandon Franklin and Roger Cothran rounding out the top five.

Former asphalt Mini-Stock ace Steve Hill scored the victory in the Stock 4B feature. John Martin followed in second, with Derrick Lord in third, Daniel Conner in fourth and B.J. Franklin in fifth.

Dink McKeehan topped the Open Wheel Modified field to take the feature win. Chase Baird finished second, with Zack Minielly third and Matthew Wall fourth.
