Freddie Carpenter and Kyle Thomas both scored FASTRAK Racing Series victories in the Mountain State over the weekend.
Carpenter took top honors on Friday night at I-77 Speedway in Ripley, West Virginia, while Thomas was the winner on Saturday night at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia.
On Friday, Freddie Carpenter raced from the 13th starting spot to the victory in the UBB 29 Miners Memorial at I-77 Speedway.
The Parkersburg, West Virginia took home a $3,000 payday for his efforts.
Logan Roberson finished in second, with Nick Schlager in third, Benji Hicks in fourth and Henry Hornsby in fifth.
Kyle Thomas, fast qualifier Dillon Brown, A.J. Spagnuolo, Matt Long and Michael Bland rounded out the top ten.
On Saturday night, Kyle Thomas held off Logan Roberson for the “Great American Crate Race” feature win at Tyler County Speedway.
Thomas, of Pennsboro, West Virginia scored $7,000 with the win.
Dillon Brown finished third, with Henry Hornsby fourth and Trey Watson fifth.
Matt Long, Tyler Riggs, A.J. Spagnoulo, fast qualifier Carson Ferguson and Jacob Brown rounded out the top ten.
