Howard Motors To Mini-Stock Madness Win At Anderson

The Mini-Stock division took center stage on Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway, as Ryan Howard scored the Mini-Stock Madness victory at the Williamston, South Carolina raceway.

Howard charged forward from the sixth starting position, and went on to hold off Chad Campbell for the win.

It marks the fifth win in six starts on the season for the Pelzer, South Carolina speedster, who has a commanding lead in the division points standings.

Chuck Mitchell finished in third, with Bobby Brock, who sits second in points, in fourth and Jeff Turner in fifth.

Anderson also played host to the Mid-Atlanta Street Stocks Series, where Lexington, North Carolina’s Gary Ledbetter scored the win over Atlanta, Georgia’s Jeff Sparks. Chris Meinders finished in third, with Ricky Locklear, Jr. in fourth and Rick Locklear Sr. in fifth.

In other action, Austin Northcutt drove to the BM Modifieds victory. Jamie Winslett finished in second, followed by Alan Mitchell in third, Trent Smith in fourth and Adam Callaham in fifth.

Janson Marchbanks took the win in the US Legends feature, with Austin MacDonald, Randy Gunton, Lee Jordan and Branham Phillips rounding out the top five.

Scott Parker was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Joshua Thomason came home in second, followed by Leo Asher in third, Robert Hall in fourth and Zach Beale in fifth.
