Somero Scores Late Model Victory At Greenville-Pickens

Austin Somero held off Taylor Satterfield en route to the Late Model victory at the historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, South Carolina on Saturday night.

It’s the second win of the season at GPS for the Greer, South Carolina native, who visited victory lane at the paved half mile back on March 23.

Georgia’s Taylor Satterfield followed in second, with Trey Gibson in third, Ryan Walker in fourth and Cameron Bolin in fifth.

In other action, Tyler Woodring and Ricky Burnett scored wins in a pair of Renegades feature.

Woodring topped the field in the first race, with Burnett in second, Jeff Key in third, Chuckie Greer in fourth and Drew Porter in fifth.

In the second feature, it was Burnett taking the victory, with Key in second, Michael Dean in third, Porter in fourth and Ashley Granata in fifth.

T.J. Johnson was the winner in the Pure Stock feature, with Jeb Kelley, Zach Blanton, Allen Cantrell and Tony Grimes rounding out the top five.

Tim Sams took top honors in the Super Stocks feature. Robin Darnell followed in second, with Travis Cox in third, Kyle Plott in fourth and Ken Guthrie in fifth.

Scott Parker scored the win in the 4 Cylinder Front Wheel Drive feature, with Josh Kersey in second, Travis Shelton in third, Dannon Esco in fourth and Josh Thomason in fifth.
