Chris Whitfield got the Limited Late Model season off to a good start on Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway.
Whitfield scored the victory in the first event for the division of the 2019 season at the Williamston, South Carolina raceway.
The Townsville, South Carolina driver started the feature on the pole, and went on to record the win at the 3/8-mile asphalt speed plant.
Anthony Adams finished in second, with Shane Brown in third, Billy Brown in fourth and Devin Kelley in fifth.
Mark Sullivan, Jack Robertson, Smoke Shiflett, Rick Kelley, and Brandon Cates rounded out the top ten.
In other action, hometown hero Austin Northcutt drove to his second BM Modified feature victory of the season. Bryan Mitchell followed in second, with Sam Brown third, Will Ragsdale fourth and Adam Callaham fifth.
Ryan Howard also made his second trip of the season to victory lane in the Mini Stock feature, with Bobby Brock in second, Ben Kay in third, Chuck Mitchell in fourth, and Chase Morrison in fifth.
Randy Gunton edged out Karl Moberg to score the win it he US Legends feature. Cory Parham, Russell Shore and Salvador Jimenez rounded out the top five.
Scott Parker took the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Joshua Thomason in second, Manuel Molleda in third, Robert Hall in fourth and Allen Porter in fifth.
Andrew Cordell was the winner in the Pure Stock feature. Dereck Burgess came home second, with Roger Gentry third, Eric Burgess fourth and Eric Caughorn fifth.
