John Anderson Wins Limited Late Model Finale At WBS

John Anderson closed out the 2018 racing season at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway on Saturday night in fine form – with a victory in the Limited Late Model season finale.

The Monroe, Georgia speedster powered to the lead, and then held off Chris Woods to score the win at the ¼-mile clay raceway.

Ken Lampp finished in third, with Brandon Roberts in fourth and Shane Cox in fifth.

Chad Puckett finished in seventh, which was enough to secure the division championship for 2018.

In other action, Nick Sellers held off Logan Stinchcomb to take the win in the Hobby feature. Chris Jones finished in third, taking home the division title in the process. Andy Barton finished fourth, with Justin Taylor in fifth.

Jimmy Lee Langley took top honors in the Modified Street feature, while 2018 division champion Jordan Poole rolled home in second. Aaron Criswell finished third, with Ronnie Poole fourth and Terry Calhoun fifth.

Mark Chancey put the finishing touches on the 2018 Stock V8 division championship by scoring the win in the final feature of the year. Jr. Carter finished in second, followed by Chase Chancey in third.

Kyle Braswell was the winner in the Stock 4A feature, with Allen Cantrell, Glen Jackson and Damen Harrison rounding out the top four. Justin Taylor was the 2018 division champ.

Hoke Jones recorded the victory in the Stock 4B feature. Brandon Franlin, the division champion for 2018, finished in second, followed by Stephen Bradshaw in third, Tyler Thompson in fourth and Mark Chastine in fifth.
