Hank Wilhelm used a better reaction time and a closer run to his dial in to score the win in the Super Pro final in Saturday’s Summit ET Drag Racing Series event at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
The Maysville, Georgia racer defeated Alan Goddard in the final. Wilhelm dialed in a 5.06 and ran a 5.083 ET at 130.19 MPH. and a 0.013 reaction. Goddard dialed in a 5.81 and ran a 5.842 ET at 118.24 mph and a 0.016 reaction.
Wilhelm defeated Baily Dunn to reach the finals, while Goddard had a single pass into the final.
Other winners on the day included Brad Hall in Pro, Scott Reynolds in Sportsman, Hayden Wilson in Jr. Street and 10-12 Jr. Dragster, Tim Sutton in Super Pro Bike, Michael Howard in Street ET Bike, Cooper Hancock in 5-9 Jr. Dragster and Jackson Earwood in 13-17 Dragster.
