Nick Sellers took the early lead in Saturday night’s Hobby feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, and led wire-to-wire en route to the victory.

The Toccoa, Georgia speedster started the night on the outside of the front row, but edged out pole sitter Chris Jones as the two raced off turn two on the opening lap for the lead.

Following an early caution, Sellers again moved to the point on the restart, with Jones and Ronnie Poole gave chase. As Sellers moved away, Poole worked to find a lane around Jones for second.

That fight was derailed when Poole spun in turn two, gathering up Andy Barton in the process to bring out the second caution of the night.

Back under green, Sellers resumed the lead, while Jones found himself under fire from Logan Stinchcomb for second place.

After the final caution of the night flew for the stopped car of Barton in turn four, Sellers powered back to the lead on the restart, while Jones and Stinchcomb battled behind him.

Sellers drove on to the win unchallenged. With half a lap to go, Stinchcomb finally cleared Jones to finish in second, with Sellers setteling for third.

Cody Smith came home in fourth, with Barton in fifth.

In other action, John Anderson edged out Chad Puckett for the Limited Late Model feature victory. Justin Sims finished in third, with Jimmy Johnson in fourth and Scott Frady in fifth.

Wormy Gaddis took the win in the Modified Street feature. Shane Peppers came home in second, with Kevin Shaw in third, John Anderson in fourth and Arti Ridgeway in fifth.

Mark Chancey scored the victory in the Stock V8 feature, with Tim Corbin, Stephen House, Johnny Hill and Trip Sexton rounded out the top five.

Justin Taylor beat out Allen Cantrell for the win in the Stock 4A feature. Austin Brumbelow came home in third, with Shane Peppers in fourth and J.J. Garrett in fifth.

Brandon Franklin was victorious in the Stock 4B feature, with William Earnest following in second, Calob Nicholson in third, Stephen Bradshaw in fourth and Brandon Cox in fifth.

Winder-Barrow Speedway returns to action on Saturday, September 8, as the raceway plays host to the Roger Cooper Memorial Race.
