John Anderson jumped to the early lead of Saturday’s night’s Limited Late Model feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, and was never seriously challenged en route to the victory.
The Monroe, Georgia native powered to the lead on the drop of the green flag, with Chris Woods and Chad Puckett giving chase.
The was interrupted by a multi-car crash in turn two that was triggered when Rodney Peters spun in front of a group of cars. In all five cars tangled in the corner, including Rod Roberts, Dustin Cason and Josh Hardigree.
Caution would fly again a few laps later for a single car spin in turn two.
Back under green, Anderson continued to lead, with Woods and Puckett battling for second. As the laps wound down, the three leaders would settle in, but their advantage over the field dissipated when Roberts slowed on the backstretch, drawing the final caution of the night.
Anderson resumed the lead on the restart, while Woods came under fire from Puckett. With just a few laps remaining, the two tangled, sending Woods sliding sideways off turn two while Puckett slipped past for the spot.
Up front, Anderson drove away for the victory. Puckett finished in second, followed by Woods in third, Ken Lamp in fourth and Peters in fifth.
In other action, Justin Sims edged out Nick Sellers to score the win in the Hobby feature. Chris Jones finished in third, followed by Michael Lewis in fourth and Chad Stinchcomb in fifth.
Aaron Criswell recorded the victory in the Modified Street feature. Jordan Poole came home in second, with Neal Cox in third and Kevin Shaw in fourth.
In the Stock V8 feature, it was Stephen House taking the win, with Trip Sexton, Cody Peppers, Johnny Hill and Jr. Carter rounding out the top five.
Justin Taylor held off Zack Sanders for the victory in the Stock 4A feature. Austin Brumbelow finished third, with Allen Cantrell fourth and Cody Albright fifth.
Kyle Walker was the winner in the Stock 4B feature, with Brandon Franklin in second, Mark Parker, Jr. in third, Stephen Bradshaw in fourth and Robert Booth in fifth.
