Saturday night was a big one for Brady Hunt at Georgia’s Toccoa Raceway.
Hunt, who hails from Toccoa, Georgia, scored his first career Stock V8 feature victory at the historic 5/16 mile clay speedway.
Hunt moved to the division after competing last season in the Front Wheel Drive division at the raceway.
Fellow Toccoa resident Hayden Collett challenged Hunt several times, but in the end had to settle for second, while Ricky Jones finished in third.
It was a night for first time winners, as Travis Barbare scored his first O’Reilly Auto Parts Front Wheel Drive feature, with Scott Arrowood in second and Justin Sorrow in third.
Rod Tucker also recorded his first feature win at Toccoa in the Stock 4 Cylinder feature, setting fast time in qualifying and leading wire-to-wire for the win. Kevin Kelly and Jamie Massey rounded out the top three.
In other action, David McCoy powered to the lead in the Midsouth Cage Equipment Limited Late Model feature over pole sitter Jimmy Johnson. From there, McCoy went on to lap all but four cars en route to the victory. Drew Collins finished in second, with Johnson in third.
Daniel Snow captured the Modified Street feature win. Snow was trailed by Billy Buffington in second and Johnny Pilgrim in third.
Ricky Smith cruised to victory in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature. Nick Schlager placed second with Sylvan Schuette in third.
Rusty House claimed the Safety Plus 602 Sportsman feature win. Crandall Turner finished second with Jeremy Mayfield in third.
Sterling Helm parked his Chevy Silverado in victory lane for his sixth the Toccoa Pro Truck feature win of the season. Bill Pulliam came home in second, followed by Terry Calhoun in third.
Caylan Kettle won the Kettle Construction Company Young Guns feature, with Jacob Kelly in second and Will Kettle in third.
