Hank Wilhelm drove to his first Super Pro win of the 2018 season on Saturday in Summit ET drag racing action at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Wilhelm, from Maysville, Georgia, defeated Mark Hancock with a 5.111 ET on his 5.10 dial in at 128.01 mph and a 0.001 reaction time. Hancock ran a 6.478 ET off a dial in of 6.45 at 106.38 mph and a 0.001 reaction time also.
In the Pro final, Chad Brewer beat out Matt Ward for the victory. Brewer ran a 6.840 E.T. on his 6.83 Dial in at 98.18 MPH. and a 0.001 reaction. Ward ran a 6.450 E.T. on a 6.45 D.I. (dead on) at 106.19 MPH. with a 0.038 reaction.
Russell Haskins defeated Dickey Forrester for the win in the Sporsman final. Haskins ran a11.933 E.T. on his 11.88 D.I. at 118.20 MPH. and a 0.072 reaction Forrester ran a 11.746 ET .on his 11.75 dial in (break out) at 104.74 MPH. and a 0.039 reaction
In the Super Pro Bike final, Scott Saemisch defeated Eric Browning for the victory. Saemisch dialed in an 8.20 and ran an 8.598 at 125.90 mph with a 0.092 reaction. Browning dialed in a 9.20 and ran a 9.740 ET. And a 0.043 reaction.
Eric Browning got his first ever Street ET Bike win in two years of racing. Browning defeated Ken Ford with a 9.204 ET on his 9.20 DI (dead on) at 147.33 MPH. and a 0.029 reaction. Ford ran a 9.158 ET. on his 9.20 DI. (break out) at 142.39 MPH. and a 0.050 reaction.
In the Jr. Street final, Ryan Blanton drove to a win over Makaila Hinsley. Blanton ran a 10.611 ET on his 10.65 DI (double breakout) at 66.72 MPH. and a 0.211 reaction. Hinsley ran an 11.646 ET on her 11.77 DI at 63.92 MPH. and a 0.247 reaction.
Ava Ward defeated Aaron Kennedy in the 5-9 Jr Dragster final. Ward ran a 12.471 ET on her 12.43 DI at 49.63 MPH. and a 0.305 reaction. Kennedy ran a 14.181 ET. on his 14.22 DI (break out) at 40.79 MPH. and a 0.231 reaction.
In the 10-12 Jr. Dragster final, Stephen Skelton beat Kimberly Vancica. Skelton dialed in a 8.90 and ran an 8.986 ET at 73.43 MPH with a perfect reaction 0.000. Vancica dialed in an 8.90, and ran a 8.968 ET at 70.69 MPH and a 0.102 reaction.
Chris Kittle defeated Jessie Daniel in the 13-17 Jr. Dragster final. Kittle dialed in a 7.96 and ran a 7.986 ET at 78.12 MPH with a 0.034 reaction. Daniel ran a 7.915 ET on her 7.92 dial in (break out) at 80.64 MPH and a 0.104 reaction.
