Rodney Peters had the Limited Late Model field covered on Saturday night at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway.
Peters jumped out to the early lead from the outside of the front row, edging out Ken Lampp as the two raced down into turn one.
Peters would pace the first three laps until John Anderson spun after tagging the turn three wall, making contact with another car in the process to bring out the caution. Both cars were able to drive away.
Peters would again jump back out to the lead on the restart, with Lampp looking for daylight on the low side. Peters had begun pulling out to a decent lead again when the second and final caution of the feature flew when Tyler Canup spun on his own in turn three.
Back under green, Peters held the lead, but Lampp moved up to challenge on several laps. As the final laps wound down, Peters pulled away from the field, and went on to score the victory.
Lampp held on to finish in second, with Scott Frady in third, Chadillac Puckett in fourth and Anderson in fifth.
Jeff Lampp and Canup rounded out the finishing order.
In other action, Ronnie Poole scored the win in the Hobby 602 feature, with Dustin Cason in second, Andy Barton in third, Chad Atha in fourth and Shawn Tullis in fifth.
