Pollard Wins Again At 5 Flags Speedway

Bubba Pollard did it again, scoring his 15th Late Model victory of the season with a victory at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida Friday night.

The Senoia, Georgia driver started out the night by setting the fast time in qualifying.

After an invert, Pollard charged from eighth place on the starting grid to take the lead on lap 40, and would hold off hard charges from fellow Georgia racer Mike Garvey and Alabama’s Augie Grill to score the victory.

Garvey would finish second, with Grill third, Jerry Artuso fourth and Chris Davidson fifth.  Grant Enfinger, Jeff Choquette, Logan Boyett, Johanna Long and Casey Smith rounded out the unofficial top ten.

It was also a big night for Grill, as his third place finish solidified him as the 2011 Blizzard Series Champion.
