Clayton Turner Takes Limited Late Model Victory At Toccoa

Hometown hero Clayton Turner proved to be the man to beat Saturday night at Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, GA, as he held off Gus Simpson to score the Limited Late Model feature win.

Turner outran Simpson and the rest of the field to pick up the win at the historic 5/16 clay speedway.

Wesley English finished in third, with Kenny Collins in fourth and Drew Benfield in fifth.

In other action, Colby Cannon topped the FASTRAK Late Model field to take the win over David McCoy. Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance finished in third, followed by Ricky Smith in fourth and Sylvan Schuette in fifth.

Nick Sellers was the winner in the 602 Sportsman/Hobby feature. John Howard came home in second, with James Nash third, Chris Wilbanks fourth and Kevin Foster fifth.

Daniel Snow scored the victory in the Modified Street feature. Josh Thurmond, Robbie Campbell, Drew Whitfield and Preston Strickland rounded out the top five.

In the Stock 4 feature, Shannon Etheridge held off Harley Holden for the win. Scott Hollars finished in third, with Randy Boshears in fourth and Nick McCall in fifth.

Dylan Hall was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Ray Foskey finishing in second, Lynn Cleveland in third, Howard Allen in fourth and Hayden Collett in fifth.

Jackie Holden took top honors in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Robbie Cook crossed the line in second, with Daniel Reynolds third, Chris Hunt fourth and Dean Hooper fifth.
