Derek Hagar dueled with Tim Crawley for the first half of Friday’s USCS Sprint Car Series feature at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, then held off a determined Brad Bowden for the victory.

It marked the Marian, AR native’s fifth USCS win of the season and 34th career series win.

Bowden raced under the checkered flag in the runner-up position after an impressive performance on the evening. Zack Pringle, who started fourth, followed Bowden to finish in third. Crawley finished in fourth place and Marshall Skinner came home in fifth.

Eddie Gallagher, Terry Gray, Jerod Roller, Anthony Nicholson and Morgan Turpen rounded out the top ten.

Skinner kicked off the evening’s sprint car action by winning the USCS Hoosier Tire Speed Dash. Crawley then captured the win in the first heat. Klint Angelette won the second heat. Hagar bested Bowden for the top spot in the third heat.
