Brown, Sorrow Race To Anderson Late Model Stock Wins

R.A. Brown and Justin Sorrow both made trips to victory lane on Friday night, as they split dual Late Model Stock features at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC.

Brown was the first to make the trip to victory lane, as he outdistanced Georgia speedster Cody Haskins to score his fifth division feature win of the season. Trey Gibson finished in third, with Sorrow in fourth and David Roberts in fifth.

Marty Ward, Kenneth Headen, Kason Plott, Justin Southerlin and Taylor Nesbitt rounded out the top ten.

In the second feature, Sorrow edged out Gibson for the victory, with Haskins in third, Roberts in fourth and Headen in fifth.

Nesbitt, Southerlin, Tim Edwards, Ron Hall and Plott finished out the top ten.

In other action, Chad Campbell topped the Mini-Stock field for the feature win. Colby Howard came home in second, with Mark Timmerman in third, Austin Northcutt in fourth and Ben Kay in fifth.

Shawn Campbell scored the win in the Renegades feature, with Shane Brown in second, Chris Whitfield in third, Billy Brown in fourth and Steve Guthrie in fifth.

Jack Robertson was the winner in the Super Stock feature. Andy Moss crossed the line in second, followed by Chris Black in third, Paul Sears in fourth and Shaun Mize in fifth.

Justin Ashley took top honors in the US Legends feature, with Zach Leonhardi, Rex Brown, Lee Jordan and Jacob Heafner rounding out the top five.

In the BM Modifieds feature, Austin Northcutt raced his way to victory lane. Will Ragsdale finished in second, with Shon Gibson in third, Brandon Segars in fourth and Chad Stewart in fifth.

Don Tavernia scored the win in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Tommy Davis was second, with Scott Parker third, Robert Hall fourth and Michael Posey fifth.
