Doug Horton closed out the 2014 season at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL in high fashion Saturday night, as he powered to the Late Model victory in the season ending Donnie Tanner Memorial Race No. 4.
Horton held off a hard charging Josh Peacock for the win, as the Late Model cars ran “topless” in their 50-lap feature. Keith Nosbisch crossed the finish line in third, followed by Jack Nosbisch, Jr. in fourth and David Schmauss in fifth.
In other action, Buck Woodhouse picked up his 11th win of the season in the Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stock feature. Justan Rodgers finished second with David Barwick, II third. Thomas Burnside and Billy Barstow rounded out the top five.
In the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds it was Austin Sanders picking up the win over Nate Bregenzer in second, with Roger Crouse in third, Rich Pratt fourth and James Decker in fifth.
Jeremy Simpson scored the win in the V8 Warriors feature, with Roy Woodhouse second, Jeff Weaver third, Raymond Vann fourth and Derek Gray fifth.
Patrick Fiore, Sr. topped the field in the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bomber feature. Darrell Taylor came home in second, followed by Kayla Jones in third, Bailey Purcell in fourth and George Handy in fifth.
