David McCoy Tops Limited Late Model Field At Lavonia

David McCoy charged his way to the lead in Friday night’s Limited Late Model feature at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA, and went on to score the victory over second place finisher Jeff Lamp.

Clayton Turner came home in third, with Mike Asheley in fourth and Gus Simpson rounding out the top five.

In other action, Parker Herring powered to the front of the FASTRAK Pro Late Model field, and drove away to pick up the win. Kenny Collins finished in second, with David McCoy in third, Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance in fourth, and Kyre Mullaney in fifth.

Michael Segars scored the Modified Street feature win, beating Jack Hill to the finish line. Greg Scoggins finished in third, with Mark Wilbanks in fourth and Kevin White in fifth.

Mike Davidson beat out Daniel Fowler for the win in the Hobby feature. Alex Yarborough, Matthew Bryant and Robin Collins rounded out the top five.

In Stock 4 action, Henry Vaughn scored the victory, holding off Kevin Kelly to the end. Jamie Massey finished in third, with Kyle Cooper in fourth and Blake Bentley in fifth.

Adam Partain topped the field for the victory in the Rookie 4 feature. Jeremy Hicks finished in second, with Matt Fleming in third, Payton Freeman in fourth and Hunter Anthony in fifth.

Jackie Holden picked up the win in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Austin Elrod finished in second, with Daniel Reynolds in third and Jake Abernanthy in fourth.

Lavonia Speedway returns to action on Saturday, May 3, as the raceway plays host to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, along with local action. For more info, visit lavoniaspeedway.net.
