Rain on Saturday caused several local tracks to postpone or cancel events slated for that evening.
Precipitation caused the cancellation of Saturday’s event at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA.

The speedway returns to action on Saturday, Aug. 13 featuring Double Points, Kids Bike Races and Lucky Ladies Night, featuring double points for all divisions, kids bike races and all ladies will be admitted into the grandstand for half price.

Also on Saturday, wet weather spoiled the plans of racers and race fans at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama, as the planned racing events for the evening were rained out.
East Alabama will return to action this Saturday, Aug. 13, as the speedway holds driver autograph night, featuring racing in the Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Hobby, Bomber, Modified and Road Warrior divisions.
