Venturini Motorsports was again atop the speed charts at Daytona International Speedway at the end of Saturday’s ARCA Series practice session, but this time with a different driver.
Justin Boston, the 2013 SCOTT Rookie of the Year, posted the quickest speed yet in the afternoon session Saturday. Boston, in the No. 25 ZLOOP Toyota, circled the 2.5-mile superspeedway in 49.019 seconds, an average speed of 183.602 mph.
Justin Allison turned the second fastest time, with Spencer Gallagher in third. John Wes Townley, who led Friday’s sessions, was fourth, with Tyler Reddick in fifth.
Leilani Munter, Michael Self, Scott Sheldon, Alex Guennet and Mario Gosselin rounded out the top 10.
Open testing resumes Sunday at the “World Center of Racing”, the final day of the annual three-day ARCA Racing Series test at Daytona.
