Cain started the night by putting the Lee Langford hot rod on the pole for the OLM feature. Cain would prevail as the leader early on, but was later reeled in by second place driver Billy Chancy. Chancey challenged, but, piloting just his second race in the last seven years, extended the lead once more and never looked back. In the end, it was Cain picking up his second win in a row and second of the season, with Chancy in second and Steve Barker in third. Stuart Dutton and David Murphy rounded out the top five.
In other action, the night started with a combined Bandolero makeup race from September 8. The ten lap event started off with a two car spin early on but remained clean and green for the remainder of the event with Jensen Jorgensen picking up the win with Taylor Jorgensen in second and Tyler Moseley in third.
The Go Karts were up next which had William Downs picking up his second win in a row with Doug Sanneman coming home in second and Dillon Bailey taking home the third spot.
The Legends cars were next on the program which saw hard fought battles between Alex Coffey and Woodrow Mullis. In the end, it was Coffey scoring his sixth win of the season and second in a row with Mullis in second and CJ Pucko finishing third.
The Bandolero Outlaws ran their feature next, with multiple drivers battling for the lead early on. Jensen Jorgen set the pace early on with Tyler Moseley trailing in second with intense battles between Taylor Jorgensen and Clyde Tucker as well as Katelyn Weatherly and Mark Younginer. In the end it was Jensen Jorgensen picking up his second win of the evening with his older sister Taylor in second and Tyler Moseley finishing third.

While the regular season may be complete, one race weekend remains in 2012 for Watermelon Capital Speedway and that will be October 26-27 for the CRA Twin 100’s Weekend.
