Mike Garvey Scores PLM Win At South Alabama

Mike Garvey made it back-to-back Pro Late Model wins Saturday.  One day after winning at 5 Flags Speedway, Garvey returned to victory lane in the Copperhead 100 at South Alabama Speedway in Opp, Alabama.

Garvey beat out Hunter Robbins for the victory.  Justin South finished third, with Chris Davidson in fourth, and Zak Hausler rounding out the top five.

In other action, Senoia, GA’s Bubba Pollard would lead the Modified feature event early, but in the end, it was Donald Crocker coming away with the victory.  Pollard would hold on for second, with Heath Mills in third, Brandon Howell in fourth, and Kip Whitehead in fifth.

In Street Stock action, Chris Lucas scored the victory, holding off Chris Salter for the win.  Dennis Thomas finished third, followed by Darrell Cawley in fourth, and Billy Maxie in fifth.

Kim Bishop topped the field in the RoadRunner feature.  Ricky Strickland, Nick Petrie, David Daniels, and Mike Wolfe rounded out the top five.

In the Coyote feature, Josh Wood came across the finish line first to score the win.  Roger Wood, Jr. finished second, with Rusty Locklar in third, Lee Rogers in fourth, and Joseph Chandler in fifth.

Donnie Howell crossed under the finish line first to pick up the Mini-Sportsman feature victory.  Lon Howell ran second, with Adam Salter third, Keith Hutchinson fourth, and Jared Howell fifth.

In the Cuplite feature, Jack Whittle recorded the win.  Rick Northey finished second, followed by Waylon Spivey, Dylan Spivey, and Gordon Reece.
