Kyle Bronson topped the field Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL to score the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modified victory.
Devin Dixon, Jerry Bruce, Jr. and Bronson won their heat races. For the start of the feature it was the two veterans, Bobby Dixon and Roger Crouse on the front row. On the start Dixon was on the high side and Crouse on the low side when Bronson split the two and took the lead on the back stretch. On lap 11, Crouse was running second when he spun in turn four. With just four laps to go, Bronson was on a mission as he went on to pick up the win for Hammond Motorsports. Devin Dixon finished second with David Pollen, Jr., Bobby Dixon and Thomas Pratt rounding out the top five.
In other action, the first feature of the night went to the Old Time Mods. Richard Svenson and Lars Amundsen won their heat races. When the green flag waved for the feature event, Jamie Frankland quickly made his way to the top spot and never looked back as he picked up his first win. Roger Herbach finished second with Gary Riccio, Bob Fink and Amundsen rounding out the top five.
Next up were the Outlaw Fours. Defending Champion Jesse Brown and former Champion Stephen Hohlbaugh won their heat races. For the feature it was Brittany Yates in her new ride and the last feature winner Billy Howard on the front row. When the green waved, Howard took the early lead with Brown right on his back bumper. On lap three, Brown passed Howard but lost the spot as the caution came out when Nick Hebrank spun in turn four putting Howard back up front.

Next up were the Late Models. Phillip Cobb and Roger Crouse both won the heat races and also made up the front row for the feature. When the green flag waved, Cobb took off with Crouse right behind him. But after a few laps had gone by, Crouse had slipped back and Josh Peacock moved up to second with Kyle Musselman in third. The first caution came out on lap ten as Brian Barse slowed down in turn four. After the final restart on lap 13, Cobb never looked back and picked up his second feature in a row with Peacock, Musselman, Wallace Peacock and Crouse rounding out the top five.
The final event of the night went to the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers. Troy Dittebrand, Michael Hart and Robert Kissam won their heat races. On the front row for the feature it was Raymond Vann and George Ingram. Vann took the early lead until the first caution came out for debris on the track on lap three. Several more cautions came out, but no one could catch Vann as he went on to win the feature. Hart was second with Patrick Fiore, Sr. Dittebrand and Kissam rounding out the top five.
