Dale Howard drove to the victory in Friday night’s USCS Sprint Car Series feature at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.
It marked the first series victory of the 2023 season for the Byhalia, Mississippi driver.
Pendergrass, Georgia’s Jeff Oliver scored his best career series finish with a second place finish in the 25-lap feature at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.
Matt Kurtz finished in third, with C.J. Miller in fourth, and Terry Gray in fifth.
Lance Moss, Bobby Breen, Kyle Connery, Prestin Dalton, and Jeff Willingham rounded out the top 10.
Miller, Kurtz, and Howard won their respective heat races, with Moss winning the speed dash.
The series was slated to compete at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway on Saturday night, but stormy weather washed out racing plans for the speedway.
The USCS Sprint Car Series returns to action on Friday, August 18 at Lexington 104 Speedway in Lexington, Tennessee before traveling to Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday, August 19. For more information, visit USCSRacing.com.
