Chad Campbell Captures Mini-Stock Win At Anderson

Chad Campbell scored his first feature victory of the 2023 season as the Mini-Stock division took center stage on Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina.

Campbell charged from the fourth starting position in the 30-lap feature, and went on to score the “Mini-Stock Mania” win at the 3/8-mile asphalt raceway.

Austin Northcutt followed in second, with Ben Burnett in third, Bryan Mitchell in fourth, and Koleman Bryant in fifth.

B.J. Thrasher, Ryan Howard, Russell Powell, Tim Greer, and Hubert Carver rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Austin Somero made his first trip of the season to AMS’ victory lane with a win in the Limited Late Model feature. Justin Sorrow finished in second, with Magnum Tate in third, Jock White in fourth, and R.A. Brown in fifth.

Chuck Mitchell crossed the finish line ahead of Riley Gentry to win the BM Modifieds feature, with Scott Robinson third, Rodger Gentry fourth, and Joey Chitwood fifth.

Mitchell Thompson topped the US Legends feature to take the victory. Stuart Wilkerson, Zack Alexander, Brian Cosier, and Brandon Johnson rounded out the top five.

Drexx Brezeale was the winner in the Pure Stocks feature, followed by Chris Lawson in second, Kyler Moser in third, Michael Haney in fourth, and Shawn Thomson in fifth.

Kayden Presnell scored the victory in the Young Guns feature. Jaylen Norris was second, with Kenzie Davis third, Halee Whitfield fourth, and McKenzie Barbare fifth.
