Chris Woods Wins Again In Limited, Hobby 602 At WBS

Chris Woods has had a knack for winning on at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway this year.

In fact, Woods has specifically been adept at sweeping the Limited Late Model and Hobby 602 races on the same weekend.

The Statham, Georgia speedster did it again on Saturday night, as he made a pair of trips to victory lane at the ¼-mile clay raceway.

In the Limited Late Model feature, Woods held off Timothy McKeehan for the victory. Ken Lampp followed in third, with Joe Yarbrough in fourth, and Will Harris in fifth.

In the Hobby 602 feature, Woods crossed under the checkered flag ahead of James Cason, with Nick Sellers in third, Timothy McKeehan in fourth, and Randy Jackson in fifth.

In other action, Ronnie Poole topped the Modified Street field to take the feature win over Jeffery Lampp in second, with Jennifery Everett in third, John Anderson in fourth, and Russell Shore in fifth.

Mark Chancey crossed the finish line first to score the Stock 8 feature victory. Trey Pilgrim, Keith Guy, T.J. Edwards, and Randy Massey rounded out the top five.

Ronnie Poole recorded the win in the Stock 4A feature, with Allen Cantrell second, Cody Peppers third, Matt Gerrin fourth, and Scott Cox fifth.

Adam Jones took the victory in the Stock 4B feature. Bryson Briscoe finished in second, with Mark Proctor in third, Mason Peppers in fourth, and Charles Earnest in fifth.

Eddie Segars was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Wayne Chapman in second, William Earnest in third, and Jake McBride in fourth.

Adam Rouse scored the win in the Enduro feature, with Tim Phillips and Jimmy Hill rounding out the podium

During the Enduro feature, veteran racer Russell Shore of Jefferson, Georgia was injured in a grinding crash. Shore was transported to an area hospital, where he is reportedly continuing to recover from his injuries.
