Trae Kirk took command of Saturday’s night’s Limited Late Model feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway when the leaders tangled ahead of him.
From there, the Monroe, Georgia racer ran unchallenged to the victory at the ¼-mile clay raceway.
After starting on the outside of the front row, Kirk fell back to third on the opening lap as Chris Woods and Ken Lampp charged past in turn one.
As the leaders began building an advantage on the field, the race was interrupted by a caution flag when the car of Will Harris rolled to a stop in turn 3.
Back under green, Woods and Lampp made contact while fighting for the lead in turn 2, with their cars hooking up in the low groove. That allowed Kirk to power by on the outside to take the lead. The race was slowed moments later by the second caution of the night when Woods and Lampp, still hooked together, came to a stop in turn 4.
On the restart, Kirk again surged to the lead, and held the point the rest of the way for the win. Rod Roberts followed in second, with Timothy McKeehan in third, Tyler Wood in fourth, and Lampp in fifth.
In other action, Christopher Woods added to him impressive 2023 season with the win in the 602 feature. James Cason followed in second, with Josh Lewis in third, Randy Jackson in fourth, and Rafe Ends in fifth.
John Anderson topped the Modified Street field to take the victory, with Jeffrey Lampp in second, Aaron Criswell in third, Quik McCannon in fourth, and Daniel Bray in fifth.
Mark Chancey held off Trey Pilgrim to score the win in the Stock V8 feature. Jake Roberts finished in third, followed by Chris Rauser in fourth, and Trip Sexton in fifth.
Zack Cox crossed the finish line ahead of Russell Shore to take the Stock 4A feature win. Allen Cantrell, Wade Harrison, and Willie Harrison rounded out the top five.
Riley Grimes was the winner in the Stock 4B feature, William Harrison finished in second, with Bryson Briscoe in third, Shawn McIntyre in fourth, and Kelly Cox in fifth.
Michael Davis took the checkered flag first for the Front Wheel Drive feature win, with Eddie Segars second, William Earnest third, Charles Earnest in fourth, and Clinton Taylor in fifth.
