Zack Mitchell led flag-to-flag at South Carolina’s Sumter Speedway in Ultimate Super Late Model Series action on Saturday night en route to the win.
The Enoree, South Carolina racer earned $5,000 for his efforts. It marks his 12th career series victory.
Mitchell started the night by setting a new track record in qualifying at the 3.8-mile dirt raceway with a lap in 14.557 seconds.
From there, Mitchell showed the way from start to finish to earn the victory.
Steve Banal followed in second, with Banjo Duke in third, Austin Mintz in fourth, and Cody Overton in fifth.
Doug Sanders, Anthony Sanders, Ross Bailes, Gray Parton, and Kale Green rounded out the top 10.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series is next slated for back-to-back nights in the Peach State, starting on Friday, July 1 at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway. That’s followed by a trip to Georgia’s Senoia Raceway on Saturday, July 2.
