Beard Bests Limited Late Model Field For Toccoa Victory

Frankie Beard powered to the Limited Late Model feature victory on Saturday night at Georgia’s historic Toccoa Raceway.

The Hartwell, Georgia racer held off Kenny Collins to take home the win at the 3/8-mile clay speedway.

David McCoy finished in third, followed by Stephen Segars in fourth, and Mark Wilbanks in fifth.

In other action, Larry Timms took top honors in the 602 Sportsman feature. Nick Schlager followed in second, with Ricky Smith in third, John Howard in fourth, and Jason Black in fifth.

Drake Parson piloted his car to the 602 Chargers win, with Koulton Herbert second, Walt Clough third, Jerry Buice fourth, and Riley Nash fifth.

Billy Buffington topped the Modified Street field for the feature win. Sterling Helm finished in second, with Curtis Green in third, and Rex Hambrick in fourth.

Terry Calhoun scored his second straight Pro Trucks feature win, with Bill Pulliam and Sammy Calhoun rounding out the podium.

Brady Hunt was the winner in the Stock 8 feature. Ricky Jones followed in second, with David Stone in third, Justin Sorrow in fourth, and Hayden Collett in fifth.

Chris Nickerson scored the victory in the Open Wheel Modified feature, with Brian Nickerson in second, and Roger Mealey in third.

Jamie Massey took the win in the Stock 4 feature, with Shannon Ethridge, Kenny Phillips, Ryan Crawford, and Randy Edmonds rounding out the top five.

Joel Cabe was first across the finish line to win the Front Wheel Drive feature. Savanna Merriman finished in second, with Gregg Gass in third.
