Vandygriff Tops Shamrock Skirmish At Lavonia Speedway

Keenan Vandygriff made the trip from Mount Pleasant, Tennessee to Lavonia, Georgia pay off in a big way on Saturday night.

Vandygriff beat out a 24-car field to take home top honors in Lavonia Speedway’s Street Stock Shamrock Skirmish, pocketing a cool $5,000 for his efforts in the Ultimate Street Stock Challenge series events.

Richie Stephens followed Vandygriff across the line to finish in second, with Hayden Moran in third, Blake Bentley in fourth, and Andrew Stone in fifth.

Roger McKenzie, Everett Dunlap, Calob McLaughlin, Race McMahon, and Ricky Greene rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Chris Ausburn scored the victory in the 602 Late Model feature. Brady Cornette finished in second, with Royce Bray in third, Hoyt Partain in fourth, and Cameron Tribble in fifth.

Ryan Boles took the win in the Modified Street feature, with Tye Nalley in second, Jon Crook in third, Brycen Fleming in fourth, and Michael Segars in fifth.

Jimmy Johnson was the winner in the V8 Challenge feature. Steve Greene, Chandler Diem, Brian Vandygriff, and Mattison Hoots rounded out the top five.

Morris Lester won the Georgia Enduro feature, with Noe Zuniga second and Tim Phillips third.
