Jared Horstman and Landon Britt scored victories over the weekend in the USCS Sprint Car Series Clash at the Gap at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee.
Horstman was the winner in Friday night’s action, while Britt was the winner on Saturday night.
On Friday night, Horstman grabbed the lead from the pole and survived several cautions to score his second series win of the season.
Danny Smith finished in second, with Eric Riggins, Jr. in third, Morgan Turpen in fourth and Landon Britt in fifth.
Riggins, Jr. and Dewayne White won their respective heat races, while Hortsman won the speed dash.
On Saturday night, Landon Britt led all 30-laps en route to the win, but had to battle back and forth with Jared Horstman for the victory. Horstman actually had the lead at one point on lap 15, but saw it negated when a caution flew for a flat tire by Eric Gunderson.
Back under green, Britt resumed the lead, and went on to hold off Horstman for the victory.
Eric Riggins, Jr., Danny Smith and Terry Gray rounded out the top five.
Riggins, Jr. and Britt won their respective heat races, while Britt was the winner in the speed dash.
