Smith, from Baldwin, Georgia, defeated James Noel in the final to take the win.
Smith dialed in his 1973 Chevrolet Camaro on a 6.20 and ran a 6.215 ET at 109.22 MPH and a 0.013 reaction time. Noel dialed in his 1971 Ford Mustang in on a 6.77 and ran a 6.755 ET at 101.01 MPH and a 0.116 reaction time.
Other winners on the day included Robby Brown in Super Pro, Russell Haskins in Sportsman, Jonah Duggar in JR Street, Tim Sutton in Box Motorcycle, Randy arnett in No Box Motorcycle, Kate Ward in 5-9 JR Dragster, Joshua McDaniel in 10-12 JR Dragster and Grace Varner in 13-17 JR Dragster.
