After a slow start to the 2021 season, Tim Sutton has gotten on a hot streak in Summit ET Series drag racing action at Atlanta Dragway.
Sutton, who hails from Clermont, Georgia, streaked to his third straight Super Pro Bike victory on Saturday at the Commerce, Georgia facility.
Sutton beat out Jason Hofer for the win in the final, dialing in his 1989 Suzuki on a 5.49, and ran a 5.521 ET at 125.16 mpg and a 0.002 reaction time. Hofer dialed in on a 5.68 and ran a 5.727 ET at 123.37 mph and a 0.011 reaction.
Other winners on the day included Michael Bruce in Super Pro, Chad Brewer in Pro, Russell Haskins in Sportsman, Randy Barnett in Street ET Bike, Zakary Case in 5-9 JR Dragster, Ava Ward in 10-12 JR Dragster, and Cannon Stiles in 13-17 JR Dragster.
