Jeremy Hancock picked up a hometown victory in Super Pro in Summit ET Series drag racing competition at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Hancock, who calls Commerce home, edged out Travis Bryant in the division final.
Hancock dialed in his 2013 Undercover Dragster on a 4.49 and ran a 4.500 ET at 153.33 mph with a 0.026 reaction. Bryant dialed in on a 4.95 and ran a dead on 4.951 ET at 138.13 mph. But he had a red light start a -0.004 reaction, handing the win to Hancock.
Other winners on the day included Craig Hornyai in Pro, Russ Delibero in Sportsman, Jonah Duggar in Jr. Street, Tim Sutton in Super Pro Bike, Ken Ford in Street ET Bike, Jason Johnson, Jr. in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Cooper Hancock in 10-12 Jr. Dragster, and Kimberly Vancica in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
