Billy Torrence was fastest in Saturday’s Top Fuel qualifying for the final Southern Nationals for the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Torrence topped the speed charts with a run of 3.815 seconds at 323.43 mph to claim the top spot. His son, Steve Torrence kept the top two all in the family after putting down a time of 3.817 seconds at 323.66 mph.
In Funny Car qualifying, it was J.R. Todd was fastest with a run at 3.982 seconds, 325.69 mph. Bob Tasca III was second quick with a pass at 3.999 seconds, 320.81 mph, followed by Matt Hagan with a 4.001, 314.02 mph run.
