Ross Bailes took the lead from Michael Brown on lap 30 of Friday night’s Carolina Clash Tour feature at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway, and went on to score the victory.
The win at the 3/8-mile clay raceway is the 18th career series victory for the Clover, South Carolina driver, and gave him a $3,000 payday.
Zack Mitchell finished in second, with Brown – who started the night by setting fast time in qualifying – came home in third, with John Baker in fourth and Jeff Smith in fifth.
Anthony Sanders, Jimmy Sharpe, Jr., Pearson Lee Williams, Jordy Nipper and G.R. Smith rounded out the top 10 finishers.

In other action at Lavonia on Friday night, Cody Pritchett took the victory in the 602 Late Model feature, with Devon Morgan in second, Royce Bray in third, David McCoy in fourth and Dustin Mincey in fifth.
Brady Cornett held of Jay Coen for the 602 Chargers feature win. Drake Parson followed in third, with Justin Roberts in fourth and Zak Brown in fifth.
Chris Cape topped the Modified Street field to record the feature win. Michael Segars crossed the line in second, with Jennifer Everett in third, Kyle Gordon in fourth and Brandon Chandler in fifth.
Anthony Stephens topped the Stock 8 field for the victory. Seth Brown, Ricky Chamberlain, Robert Crow and Justin Sorrow rounded out the top five.
Scott Cloninger was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Randy Shaw second, Michael Davis third, Kevin Bryant fourth and D.J. Carey fifth.
