Cole Williams celebrated Independence Day with a bang at Tennessee’s Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday night.
The Sellersburg, Indiana driver took home the 2020 Pro Late Model opening feature at the historic 5/8-mile asphalt raceway.
Dylan Fetcho was fast qualifier for the event, while the invert put Davey Coble on the front row for the start of the feature.
Coble took early control, leading the most laps for the night. Williams took over the lead at lap 61 and never look back, claiming his eight career win in the premier division at Nashville.
Williams joins Bobby Celsor, Tony Formosa, Jr., Jerry Lawley, Butch Lindley, and Dillon Oliver in a tie for 33rd for all-time career wins in the division at the speedway.
Coble finished in second, with Dylan Fetcho in third, Daniel Bolden in fourth and Michael House in fifth.
Hunter Wright, William Hale, Austin Wilson, Tandy Marlin and Bennie Hamlett rounded out the top 10.
In other action, Tanner Arms took the win in the Whelen SuperTruck feature. Arms inherited the lead when early leader Nicholas Formosa had mechanical issues, ending his night.
Frank Bauer finished in second, with John Burns in third, Gene Allber in fourth and Howard Tucker in fifth.
Jeff Belt scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature. Kevin Rollins finished in second, followed by Jonathan Dishman in third, Benniue Hamlett in fourth and Dalton Hamlett in fifth.
Carl Portman, Jr. scored the win in the Street Stocks feature, followed by Larry Cunningham in second and Brian Frazier in third.
Phillip McCord was the winner in the Pure Stock feature. Josh Hood, Willie Coats, Dustin Williams and Ronnie Upchurch rounded out the top five.
Daniel Harper held off Jessie Litchford for the Front Runners feature victory, with Josh Garvin in third, Arthur Litchford in fourth and Ramon Gonzales in fifth.
Bryson Shaffer took top honors in the Legends feature. Boston Oliver followed him across the finish line for second, with Justin Maxwell third, Travis Oliver fourth and Kyle Smithson fifth.
Austin Harrison scored the win in the Bandoleros feature. Oliver Dibble followed in second, with Aiden Potter in third, Courtney Curran in fourth and Hunter Taylor in fifth.
