Four championships came down to the final night of the season on Saturday night at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.
A couple actually took until the final lap of the final race and one had to be double and triple checked to verify the final outcome.
The closest race entering Saturday night’s event was in the Late Model Sportsman division. Jason Williams held a slim seven point advantage over McKenna Nelms.
Wiley McDaniel scored the victory over his brother, Brandon McDaniel and Jamie Nicholson, Jr. Williams finished in fourth to score the championship over Nelms, who finished in fifth.
In the Bomber division, Curtis Turner put the icing on his championship cake by winning the race and the title in the Bomber division. His closest championship competitor, Dustin Smith, finished in second, with Larry Pierce in third, Shannon Stephens in fourth and Jim Jackson in fifth.
In the Hot Shots feature, Rick Ricks scored the victory, with Jordan Wallace in second. Corey Wilson finished third, which was good enough for him to bypass ninth place finisher Robert Holder for the season championship. Ernie Turner and Cory Greene rounded out the top five finishers.
Dylan Knowles took the win in the Crate Late Model feature, with Mason Massey in second, asphalt Late Model ace Bubba Pollard in third, Matthew Wyatt in fourth and Austin Aldridge in fifth. Marty Massey finished in 16th to clinch the division championship.
Clint Smith was the winner in the Crate Late Model feature, with Oliver Gentry, Dennis Hale, Glenn Morris, and Maddie Crane rounding out the top five. Jacques Daniel finished in sixth to take the division championship.
Blant Duke scored the victory in the Hobby feature. Jake Sanders finished in second to lock up the division championship. T.J. Joiner finished third, with Landon DeGraff fourth and Brandon Henderson fifth.
Fourteen year old Joshua Till took the win in the Mini Stock feature and scored the title to become the track’s youngest champion. Cody Lively finished in second, followed by Tommy Faulkner in third, James Stansel in fourth and John Caldwell in fifth.
Braxtin Barber topped the Chargers field to take the feature win, with Johnny Stinchcomb in second, Will McConnel in third, Jimmy Baxter, Jr. in fourth and Lucas Pittman in fifth.
