David McCoy took the win Saturday night in the Phillips Group Limited Late Model at Georgia’s Toccoa Raceway.

The Franklin, North Carolina racer led flag-to-flag en route to his second win of the season at the historic 5/16-mile clay speedway.

Clayton Turner finished in second, with Danny Ledford following in third.

Toccoa Raceway also played host to the Grifco 602 Thunder Series on Saturday night, with Dale Timms driving to the win in a feature that saw several lead changes.

Pole sitter Lee Gray was leading early when he clipped the inside wall and destroyed the front end of his machine. On lap 7, John Price took over the lead but his car faded toward the end. With 10 laps to go, it was Timms who took command and never looked back.

Michael Smith came home in second, with David McCoy finishing in third.

The Midsouth Cage Equipment 604 Pro Late Models saw Drew Collins win for the second time this season. Payton Freeman finished in second, with Frankie Beard following in third.

The Modified Street feature saw three-wide racing for several laps, as pole sitter Billy Buffington battled with Daniel Snow and Josh Thurmond early on. In the end, it was Buffington recording the win, with Mitchell Godfrey and Thurmond rounding out the podium.

Bill Pulliam recorded his seventh straight Toccoa Pro Truck win of the season. Benjie Steward finished second, with James Justice third.

Jack Hill led wire-to-wire for the Stock V8 feature win, with Tim Corbin finishing in second and Nickoli Holcomb in third.

Caylan Kettle won the Stock 4 feature. Randy Boshears finished second, with Bailie Lowe third.

In the 602 Young Guns feature, 14-year old Barron McDowell took home top honors, with Colton Berong in second and Logan Carlyle in third.

Toccoa Raceway will host the Dirt Track Gone Wild driver’s meet and greet on Saturday, June 22. For more info, check ToccoaRaceway.com.
