Dustin Mitchell led flag-to-flag en route to the victory in the third annual Tar River Rumble for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina on Saturday night.
The Pine Level, North Carolina racer held off Daulton Wilson to score the $4,000 pay day in the 40 lap event.
Wilson set fast time in qualifying, but it was Mitchell racing to the early lead. From there, Mitchell held command the rest of the way.
Wilson had to settle for second, with Zack Mitchell in third, Russell Erwin in fourth and Christian Joyner in fifth.
Matthew Bissette, Ethan Wilson, Michael Rouse, Gary Dillon and Austin Holcombe rounded out the top ten.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will be back in action again on Thursday, April 4, as the Series will travel to Bulls Gap, Tennessee to Volunteer Speedway for the Spring Thaw paying $10,000 to win.
