The 2019 Friday Night Drags rules released by Atlanta Motor Speedway feature tweaks that will benefit competitors and fans alike, such as the return of the Truck Advanced class, which will pit modified gas and diesel powered trucks against each other in wide open races down the 1/8-mile pit lane drag strip.
Friday nights will also feature more tuning time for competitors with the infield pit area opening at 5:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than previous years. The extra half-hour will give racers more time to prepare their rides for faster and fiercer competition for fans.

Friday Night Drags returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway with the 13th season opener on May 10, 2019 and runs weekly throughout the summer until championship night on August 23, 2019.
