Thomas Beane and Austin Green both made trips to victory lane at North Carolina’s historic Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
Both scored victories in a pair of 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model features on the night.
Bean was the winner in the first feature, taking the early lead and holding off Austin Green to record the win. Mitch Walker finished in third, with Monty Cox in fourth and Chris Hudspeth in fifth.
In the second feature, Green battled side-by-side with Jeremy Pelfrey over the opening laps before Green finally moved to the point. From there, Green went on to record the victory. Walker finished second, followed by Beane in third, Pelfrey in fourth and Cox in fifth.
In other action, Charlie Neill held off Sheflon Clay for the win in the One Design Super Trucks feature. Dakota Slagle came home in third, followed by Josh Stark in fourth and Kosma Guznyakov in fifth.
Kenneth Roberts drove to the win in the Renegade feature, with Brian Larkin in second, Robbie Hollifield in third, Justin Austin in fourth and David Hasson in fifth.
Vince Midas and Pat Rachels battled side-by-side over the closing laps of the Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Model feature, with Midas winning by a nose at the checkered flag. Brandon Lemke, Gage Painter and Taylor Gray rounded out the top five.
Drew Cox was the winner in the Cosmo Motors Street Stocks feature, followed by Troy DeMarmels in second, Kevin Eby in third, Mark Whitten in fourth and Marshall Sutton in fifth.
Tim Gilbert scored the victory in the Vintage Racers feature. Tim Gilbert finished in second, which was good enough to wrap up the track division championship for 2018. Robert Webb finished in third, followed by Mackie Webb in fourth.
