Ronnie Poole Powers To Modified Street Win At WBS

Ronnie Poole led flag-to-flag to score the Modified Street feature victory Saturday night at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway.

The Winder, Georgia native jumped to the lead on the drop of the green flag, and went largely unchallenged en route to the win at the 1/4 mile clay raceway.

Behind him, Jordan Poole fought to hold off Wormy Gaddis for second place, finally hanging on to the position as the duo raced to the checkered flag. Aaron Criswell finished in fourth.

In other action, Mark Chancey held off Trip Sexton to take the Stock V8 feature victory. Jeff Casper finished in third.

Nick Sellers beat out Jerome Hanson for the win in the Hobby feature. Andy Barton, Brandon Roberts and Dalton Grindle rounded out the top five.

P.J. Taylor took the victory in the Stock 4A feature. James Gaines came home in second, followed by Justin Taylor in third, Damen Harrison in fourth and Roger Cothran in fifth.

Both the Limited Late Model and Stock 4B features were rained out.
