Mother Nature proved to be a strong competitor at race tracks around the southeast over the weekend, as rain washed out racing programs at several facilities.

Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia had planned to celebrate the track’s 49th season of competition, but a late rain shower led track officials to cancel the night’s activities. Two of Northeast Georgia’s top dirt tracks also saw their events rained out for the weekend.
