Jimmy Johnson earned his second Limited Late Model feature win in his last three starts in Saturday night at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.
Johnson foiled Dustin Mincey’s quest for a win with a high-groove pass to secure the victory. Mincey set the standard in qualifying and finishing a strong second while last week’s winner, Ashley Poole, came home in third. Mason Tucker came home fourth, followed by Chad Puckett in fifth.
Frankie Beard parked it in victory lane with a FASTRAK Pro LM feature win. Beard had to face a stiff challenge from Parker Herring before persevering for the win. Andrew Cole finished third, followed by Peyton Freeman in fourth and Adam Partain in fifth.
Blake Craft won his third consecutive 602 Hobby feature since returning to action. Craft controlled the race from the point throughout, edging out Nick Schlager for the victory. Rusty House came home in third, with Chayse York in fourth and Cody Smith fifth.
Rusty topped the Modified Street field to score the win. Daniel Doster finished second, with Sterling Helm third, Kyle Gordon fourth and Chris Cape fifth.
Jack Hill took the win in the Stock V-8 feature, with Evan Brown, Stephen House, Ricky Chamberlain and Mike Gantt rounding out the top five..
Matt Gilbert scored the win and a $1,000 payday in the MMSA Stock 4 feature.
Jamie Mattison came across the finish line in second, with Kevin Kelly in third, Randy Staton in fourth and Kenny Dobbs in fifth.
Hunter Anthony was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, as he beat out Justin Reed for the win. B. J. Gillespie finished third, followed by Tony Stevens in fourth and West North in fifth.
Preston Kelly scored his fifth straight Beginner 4-Cylinder feature win. Tyler Riddle finished in second, with Dakota Whittemore third, Jacob Kelly fourth and Andon Doster fifth.
