Corey Hedgecock rolled into Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia Saturday night and dominated both the NeSmith Crate Late Model and the 525 Crate NeSmith Chevy Racing Series features.
Hedgecock would begin the night by taking the pole for both races and would lead every lap of both features.
In the NeSmith Crate Late Model feature, Hedgecock took the lead from the start, with Ronnie Johnson giving chase. Even with several cautions, no one was able to seriously challenge Hedgecock for the lead. Hedgecock went on to score the win, with Johnson in second, Jake Knowles in third, Todd Morrow in fourth and Cruz Skinner in fifth.
In the 525 Crate feature, it was a little tougher for Hedgecock, with his competitors trailing him by a few car lengths in lap traffic. In the end, Hedgecock took his second win of the night, with Knowles in second, Devin Dixon in third, John Owenby in third and Johnson in fifth.
In other action, Randall Powell scored his first win of the season in the Super Bomber feature, with Roy Patterson, Lawson Hill, Daniel Brewer and Alan Brewer rounding out the top five.
Dalton Polston remained the dominant driver in the Economy Bomber division, as he drove to another feature victory. Travis Smith finished in second, followed by Dan Meadows in third, Matt Thompson in fourth and Justin Begley in fifth.
Chris Bragg made his first trip to victory lane with a win in the Street Stinger feature with Byron Sisson in second, Brian Cosier in third, Chris Creighton in fourth and Mellissa Dempsey in fifth.
