Earl Pearson, Jr. has won races with many different sanctioning bodies over his illustrious 20-year racing career, and after Saturday night, he can add a victory with the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series along with a $10,000 check at North Carolina’s Dublin Motor Speedway.
Pearson drove to the win in the Rattlesnake Rumble over a trio of former series champions, as Toccoa, Georgia’s Casey Roberts finished second, with Dennis Franklin in third. Chris Ferguson finished fourth, with Russell Irwin in fifth.
Tyler Millwood, Willie Milliken, Jason Welshan, Austin Hubbard and Justin Williams rounded out the top ten.
In preliminary action on Friday night, the three eight-lap heat races were won by G.R. Smith, Zack Mitchell and Pearson. Ferguson won the eight-lap B-Main Race on Saturday night.
The next two events for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be the Peach State Double-Header. The action begins on Saturday night, May 6 with a 40-lap $4,000-to-win race at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. That’s followed on Sunday night, May 7, at Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia, with a 40-lap $4,000-to-win event.
