It was a big weekend for Casey Roderick.
Just hours after scoring his second straight Super Late Model title at Pensacola, Florida’s Five Flags Speedway, the Lawrenceville, Georgia speedster was at Alabama’s Montgomery Motor Speedway.
He made the 164 mile trip worth it, as he scored the Pro Late Model season finale, working his way through the 13 car field to take the win.
Roderick had missed both practice and qualifying on Saturday while competing in the Southern Super Series Super Late Model finale at 5 Flags, meaning he would have to start at the rear of the field for the 150 lap race on Sunday.
Roderick worked his way through the field in the Ronnie Sanders Racing Ford, and then overcame electrical issues en route to the win.
It marked his fourth win at Montgomery behind the wheel of the Pro Late Model owned by Georgia Racing Hall of Famer Ronnie Sanders.
Bobby Knox, Jr. finished in second, with Perry Patino in third, Jordan McCallum in fourth and Bill Bethea III in fifth.
Jason Furrow, Austin Wood, Christopher Tullis, Augie Grill and Aiden Eldridge rounded out the top ten.
