McCoy Motors To Limited, Pro Late Model Wins At Lavonia

David McCoy proved that, once again, he is tough to beat at Lavonia Speedway.

The Franklin, NC speedster swept both the Limited Late Model and the FASTRAK Pro Late Model features at the fast 3/8 mile raceway in Lavonia, GA on Friday night.

In the Limited Late Model feature, McCoy held off the “Hog Rocket”, Bubba Russell, to score the victory, with Steve Segars rolling home in third. Clayton Turner finished in fourth, while Clayton Turner crossed the finish line in fifth.

In the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature, McCoy edged out Andrew Cole for the win. Frankie Beard finished third, followed by Cody Pritchett in fourth and Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance in fifth.

In other action, Michael Segars was the winner in the Modified Street feature, with Brandon Dockery in second, Keith Baker in third, Clayton Calloway in fourth and Mark Wilbanks in fifth.

Chris McKeehan was the winner in the Hobby 602 feature. Chris Page finished in second, with Austin Kimsey third, Mitchell Godfrey fourth and Chris Wilbanks fifth.

Keith Teasley was first across the finish line for the Stock 8 feature victory. Cal Moon followed in second, with Terry Thurston in third, Chase York in fourth and Eric Dove in fifth.

Ryan Bowles scored the win in the Stock 4 feature. Kevin Kelly, Brandon Elliott, Jeremy Hicks and Drew Griffith rounded out the top five.

In the Rookie 4 feature, Nathan Bowen took top honors, with Matthew Fergerson in second, Chance Segars in third, Blake Hardeman in fourth and Grant Roberts in fifth.

Jackie Holden was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Daniel Reynolds ran second, with T.J. Watson in third, Justin Hicks in fourth and Aaron Limbaugh in fifth.
